  • Good review. Now review the Watchmen Director's Cut movie. lol Not really, but if you guys want to. That one was way much better then the theatrical cut. Anyways, good review and I hope you guys continue to make more. Later!

  • We reviewed the GN twice, but the movie only once. High time for another one!

  • I don't get it, in the last segment at the end George talks about people complaining about little things that change in comic book movies and George says that doesn't mean it's a bad movie but now he's complaining because Silk Secture didn't have a cigeratte in her hand?

  • The Berserker Mode was a gag.

  • @mQtekA 2 hour movie is fine, if it was a BETTER 2 hour movie.

  • who are these retards, comparing a graphic novel to a movie, you can't just make it 5 hours long bro's.

  • @astrologio I haven't actually seen the director's cut! I do own it though. Whenever I get the urge to watch it, I usually read the comic instead :)

  • @ComicBookSyndicate Thank you very much. Though i have to ask. Was it better that i watched the director's cut of the film rather than seeing it's theatrical release? They said the director's cut filled some of it's missing gaps but not the whole thing. was it true?

  • @astrologio They had to cut a lot of content out of the story, and not just plot: they cut crucial scenes that expanded on the theme. Zack Snyder's Watchmen is the 'big action movie' version of Alan Moore's story. So, I would absolutely recommend reading the collected edition of the comic. I've lent it out to all of my non-comics reading friends, and not a single one of them has ever been disappointed. Its a different experience altogether!

  • @coydog0 I have to say. honestly, i was hell of a lot impressed by the characters and plot of the movie. And maybe its because I haven't read the book. I'm not really into comics and all that but watchmen as i saw it approach me with something good. Something that baffled me. And i wonder, if i do read the comic. Will it just be the same thing with a better presentation? Is it actually worth since i watched the film? or is it different? In a great kind of way...

  • This was a great review. I personally loved the movie and wished they had kept the Black Freighter in the theater cut because it's a good foreshadow. Also, you forgot to say that Nite Owl II was based off of the Blue Beetle. Great review though.

  • Wolverine: Origins. *sigh* They had good intentions, and I understand that Hugh Jackman even pushed for more character development in the script. 'A' for effort, but you'll never get anywhere as long as you treat comic book movies like generic, Steven Segal action vehicles.

    Hire a WRITER, people!
