Computer Chips (Re: A Knife to think about)

This is a video response to Katers17's "Vlog: A knife to think about.." where she pondered the odd possibilities of the air inside a sealed but hollow knife handle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ow9mvShXK8U

You have acess to an electron micro? I just thought I was jealous before. Would love to see your other pieces if you ever get time to post them. I like to tear apart anything that breaks in our house before it hits the trash and cull the interesting bits. What were these pieces once upon a time?

The SEMs were specifically for silicon wafers. It's not like you could put anything you wanted into them. To be honest, it was usually a total pain whenever I had to use them, only in hindsight was it fun. Details in the next vid...

This was just scratching the surface. I was in a bit of a hurry to make this: I didn't bring out any of the scanning electron microscope photos of bizarre defects or the full wafers broken into freaky shaped pieces. ;)
