A flashing serv. Light means theres a cylinder misfire.. needs new plugs more than likly

@GT500beatsZo6 I'm not expert, but I don't know why changing gears would turn the "check engine soon" light on. According to the users manual (I have a 2000 V6 mustang and recently saw that light) if it's flashing, have it checked out ASAP. If it's on solid all the time, it's most likely just unburnt fuel/gunk getting into your catalytic converter. In this case fill the tank with good fuel (87 octane for the V6), it should turn off after 3-5 driving cycles, see user's manual for more details.

i got 4:10's and posi in my 7.5 rear... way better then 3.55 or 3.73's. gas mileage does go down about 1-2 mpg though. hey, does anyone know how to get the check engine light off after changing the gears and/or a t-lock. i gatta smog my shit soon so i need that light off. (california sucks)

Sounds great man. Best sounding V6 Mustang I've heard since I sold mine! Next you need a 3.55:1 8.8 posi rear out of a GT and that V6 will be seriously fun to drive :o)

yeah i really want the 8.8 posi! i have 3.73s in my 7.5 but its not enough =p
