  • How did you seal the prop shaft?

  • I made a 'home made' stuffing box. I placed a coil spring on the shaft , and put a hose clamp on one end.(on the shaft) The spring maintains pressure on a rubber washer at the thru hull. Drips a little, but functional

  • That's the coolest boat, I've had a similar idea in my head for quite some time. Did you buy or custom build your direction changer?  That was my snagging point.

  • I bought the direction changer at a used parts depot....it's a direction changerout of an airplane wing

  • I purchased it used..........it is a 90degree direction changer that the guy told me came out of an aircraft wing.....I paid $50 for it
