robin feeding her nestlings

the babies are about one week old here as their mother feeds them beetles and grubs. you will note that to keep the nest clean the mother EATS the poo sacs from the babies. now that's just gross! you can see a photographic documentation journal of their growth over on my myspace. A shout out to my baby, my son Robert , for editing the video to make it an uploadable length, I had left the camera running up in the tree to capture the mom feeding them without disturbing her.
