The Name of Jesus Christ is never mentioned by "Ronnie". Just like the modern so-called churches that this video lampoons.

This Video is an excellent portrayal of the sad fiasco that occurs every Sunday morning across America. Millions of people swinging and swaying to the beat of the music. Millions of people hearing brief, positive-thinking, feel good messages.

But there is no Oil in their lamps, there is no Fruit on their tree, and they are NOT on the Narrow Path behind Jesus Christ.

This is funny, yet sad at the same time. I know some "Ronnie's". I have a friend who is a "Ronnie" and I pray for him. He left the church were we go to church at, he said because he "doesn't understand what the preacher is saying." I don't think it's because he doesn't understand, I think he understands but doesn't like what he hears. He now attends a "seeker friendly" church, where a "watered-down" Gospel and very little scripture is preached.

"Ronnie" seems to be the kind of person who likes music that follows what John MacArthur calls the "7-11 formula"--the same 7 words repeated 11 times throughout the song.
