This video will help a new fixie rider to learn the basic steps of skidding and the simple forms of track standing. The music is not bad either.

  • @TheDaylight9 your chain should be tight enough that it doesnt give to forward or backward pressure, but not tight enough to slow the rotation of the wheel when just spinning the pedals.

  • @gronki1 It's actually good to have a 17 tooth cog on your rear wheel. That means there will be 17 possible places that the tire can contact the ground while skidding. The more possible points of contact, the longer your tire will last.
