very slowly people will shake off the chains or religion through acedemic persuit and infuence in the west, with the communal freedom people will begin to explore new effective options out of capitalism and eventually usher into a new era where religion and capitalism become barbaric systems of the past

Marx saw aspects of religion as hegemony and wrote heavily about a state of false class consciousness and ruling class ideology. A structure embedded within this 'illusion' was religion along side others such as education and media.
