Miracle at the Met: Part 3 of 3 of the original NBC broadcast of the Vikings spectacular comeback to defeat the Cleveland Browns on December 14 1980 at Metropolitan Stadium to win 1980 NFC Central Divisional Title. The Browns were also vying to win their own divisional title, but were derailed with this defeat. This video includes the unbelievable Hail Mary pass that Two Minute Tommy Kramer threw that was caught by Ahmad Rashad for the game winning touchdown.
Bobby Moore/Ahmad Rashad was drafted as a RB by the Cards, swapped to Buffalo, had a brief strecth with expansion Seattle then swapped to the Vikings for reserve DT Bob Lurtsema. This was the first of two trades between Bud Grant's Vikings and his former defensive asst. Jack Patera of the Seahawks. The second: Vikings swapped DE Carl Eller for DT Steve Niehaus, the first-ever Seahawks college draft pick.

Kramer just would not let his team lose that day. His finest hour and one of great QB performances in Viking history.

I love the voice of Charlie Jones.... these were the days of NBC with the AFC and CBS with the NFC. I loved all of this back then even the funky music they played going to commercials.
