  • the heat shield are made up of tiles, a lot of which have to be replaced after missions.

  • acctually there is going to me a moon base  i dint no if its international

  • Its just for supplies, however on the last shuttle flight they're leaving it up there for storage.

  • Sorry for asking, but why was that "extra" room first installed and then removed? Are not the station suppose to get bigger?

  • Nice animation. But as far as I know the shuttle program is going to be cancelled in the next years and normal rockets will replace it again, right. Anyways, I hope that there will be an international moon base in the future. I would be really interested of doing research in low gravity environment in my future.
