  • This is amazing.

Any way this can be turned into a handy mp3 for traveling purposes?

  • Google Adam MCNoughton, I found this mp3 online when I made it for school

  • Well that's nice of you, it was a high school project, and the artist's song was on time. Thank you for supporting your arguments and making a very appropriate and worthwhile critique...

  • "Get thee hence to the lobby."

    You win the Internet.

  • okay...so that's how this song goes....saw the lyrics but never heard the actual song :)

  • Hamlet definitely belongs on an episode of Ye Olde Jerry Springer...

  • The music is by neither Adam McNaughton nor by Wesley Stace a/k/a John Wesley Harding. It is a traditional British fiddle tune called 'Mason's Apron,' usually played extremely fast, and has long been used by fiddlers to show off their chops by competing to see who can perform it at the most breakneck pace.

  • @woodpress1 Well, Adam McNaughton did write this so technically the description is correct. I don't think there has been any attempt at misrepresentation and the accusation of plagiarism is, well just plain wrong to be frank!

Search "Adam McNaughton : Hamlet" for Adam's original or "Martin Carthy - Oor Hamlet" for Martin's equally well known version. Lots of others around too if you look.

  • Um, "music by Adam McNaughton" is a lie, misrepresentation or just plain plagiarism.

The music is by the English author/musician Wesley Stace, aka John Wesley Harding and was recorded live at Eddie's Attic, Decatur, GA, on 10/16/02.

  • Haha! This is great!

  • Currently reading in class, our teacher showed us this, highlight of the week!

  • *Quack* OWWWWWW!!!! But cool video otherwise. :)
