Cairo Taxi Ride

The video doesn't do the experience justice, but hopefully you get a sense of what driving through Cairo is like. The traffic is actually light in this spot. Be on the lookout for the van going in reverse down the street, the cabbie moving across three lanes and liberal use of the horn as a means of communication. All this for only $2.00 American.

Love it - very up-close and person. Feel like I was there with you. Looks like they make their own lanes and traffic rules. And we get stuck with red-light cams and $45 cab rides...
