When I moved to florida I was all excited, fishing capital of the world & everything... but with all the development you pretty much get boned if you don't have a boat. I'm looking into getting a kayak for the ease of transportation & not having to pay to register a boat or trailer. But I was wondering, any advice for good fishin up here in Citrus county? Great video. I'm subscribing! The Peacock Bass are beautiful, I'd love to catch one, but it's quite a drive from here. keep up the good work!

Could not agree less with you on access, Florida has more access to freshwater then any other place in the world. There are canals, ponds and retention lakes in every deployment in Florida and over 7800 other lakes to choose from, more research you find Kayak's have more access opportunities then boats.

Ride around your local area, if it's freshwater there's probably bass in it!

where are some good areas to fish in Palm Beach county... I live toward Royal Palm and loxahatchee..

Off of Loxs Road in Loxahatchee, the east or west canal hold fish also.

I lived in south Florida until i was 18 and i love fishing there.You never know what kind of monster fish that you're gonna reel in when you make a cast.I used to go fishing at my friends house in a big pond that was a run off from a whole series of canals and we'd catch 10lb bass and huge catfish all the time.He still has a picture of a monster 22lb bass on a digital scale that he caught one day while we were fishing.I told him to get it done by a taxidermist but his dad made him throw it back!

i miss Florida, there was huge bass there. Now i live in Frisco Texas and all we got is a pond of sunfish

Why would you even think that the Everglades environment is not for fishing? The fishing is awesome and never stocked by man, it's as natural as it gets...and is one of the best fisheries in the state of Florida.

Try Loxahatchee, one of the best fisheries in the state. Additionally you have Lake Ida and Lake Osborne chain which is pretty awesome all year around.

The up side to Florida is almost every one of these canals, ponds and lakes hold fish. The key is to find it, keep it a secret so doesnt get fished out.
