Renaissance Fair - Sword Fighting

Stopped by a renaissance fair that came by town by the Society of Creative Anachronisms. They're an interesting group, and the fair was a nice and different diversion to see.

They had different events scheduled like jousting and what not. The jousting even sucked because they didn't actually joust against each other. They just trotted on horses and tried to catch donuts at the end of their pole.

Anyhow... getting back to this video, this is where they had two teams with wooden swords and shields fight. There was an honor system and 3 referees to watch to make sure that if a limb was tapped hard enough, the fighter would act as if his limb was chopped off. And if their head or chest or other vital area (groin) was chopped that he played dead.
