  • I drive past it alot on my way to Acton, it never fails to impress and looks almost as if it has a magical prescence. Is this temple ever open to viewing by non Hindus does anyone know?

  • Any one from any religion can go! Its not a strictly Hindu place!

I feel all spiritual when i am there i love it!

And visit when ever you can! it is open for most of the day! look it up and check the times!

    Have fun when you go!

  • I've been there too, its a nice place and I've kept my postcards and pictures from there. Was a little disappointed that I couldn't take my own pictures though. One question, what happens to all that wonderful food? I assume its offered and then given out as Prasad but that much???

  • I dont know to be honest... I think that the Pujaris eat it after it has been offered... Some places ive been to they only serve prasad.

And Yeah, thats a lot of food! lol

  • i went here

    its amazing

  • I knw yeah! I love that place! its the first place i go when i go to london!

  • What is this song?

  • hinduism is great

  • very nice video jay swaminarayan

  • I've been there as a school trip for Re! But erm one man was being a bit rude wen the students asked questions!

  • @Azzmeister1147 Such a lovely atmosphere, was so sad when I left!

  • @ceniboy the food in the video is only offered in that large amount on new year, known as the annakut (lit. pile of food), and its distributed locally and amongst the devotees. this is not done every day :) just a simple meal every day. you can see the annakut by going to the mandir on the 6th nov 2010 between 12-9pm. its an excellent experience and worth the long queues - and you get a free calendar and prasad too! :)

  • @Azzmeister1147 actually all the dry stuff is put into small variety prasad boxes and distributed amongst devotees and well wishers...the wet stuff is given to anyone present after the annakut has been removed from thakorji...and the friuts and vegtables and some sweets as well are refrigerated and served to the devotees who participate in Sunday Sabhas (gatherings)

  • @lndac02 anyone cam my son went to a school trip there apparently its a great experience
