@A000699 - Oh... and by the way, I have belonged to two unions in the past, but found I made more not being in a union because I was recognized for my production and knowledge and NOT because of seniority.

I believe he meant to say he was there to protect his paycheck. Unions are anti-productive by design and while they had their purpose they are no longer needed and currently do more harm than good. Unions employ scare tactics and thuggish behavior and certainly do NOT want people to know the "truth." Union Grove, WI... Union official threatened to picket a business because it wanted to remain neutral and refused to display a pro-union sign. That is just one of many examples.
