@jbail All P25 signals are 12.5 kHz narrowband signals.

It is possible to port DSD into Windows.. main changes or patches will be the sound card drivers
-
btw you can run this on windows now!

Cool. I'll have to give this a try sometime!

DeathStar is crap anyhow. Forget about it. P25 is a better option until Codec2 comes into play for Ham Radio. .-.-.

Wow awesome video. Can you help me with some links, or any other information on this. I live in the UK and we have so much D-STAR MortoTRBO radios over here at the moment. I have a tap fitted to my scanner.... I have ubuntu, but I'm new to Linux! Where do I get the DSD software, how do I install it..... Just a big idiots guide on the whole thing would be great. Can you help me please?
Thanks

@TheNetHasEyes1 Not sure about D-Star as "DSD" does not decode D-Star (yet??) You can get a DV dongle for that purpose. IIRC DSD does MortoTRBO but I have not yet decoded any of those because I don't think there are any of those systems around my location. As for installing DSD, I learned what I need to know from the website listed in the info and at my website
