So You Think You Can Speak Toisan with Jack Ong

Back in August 19, 2010.

After the Screening of "Journey of a Paper Son" featuring Jack Ong and a speech about the dialect of Toisanese and how it is a dying language. Jack Ong creates his first annual event called "So You Think You Can Speak Toisan" at the Chinatown Service Center.

"Although few of the young ladies and gentlemen had ever heard of Angel Island or paper sons, a number of them did speak Toisanese along with English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
