Hello Everyone ^_^

Today, I'll be showing the Samsung 2443 BWT 24" monitor. This monitor has a 1920 x 1200 resolution, matte screen with a dull bezel (no fingerprint magnets here). It has a 5ms response time and a dynamic contrast ratio of 20000:1 (regular CR is 1000:1). It has VGA and DVI inputs and has height, pivot, swivel, and tilt adjustments.

This monitor is freaking huge! I was shocked to see the size of the box. The monitor comes already attached to the (huge) stand. You can calibrate the monitor to your liking (need to do this soon). Newegg currently has this listed for $350 bucks. While my camera isn't able to really show how good this monitor looks, it does look impressive. I plan on hooking up my PS3 to this bad boy and checking out my blu-ray movies (my TV only does 720p). I'll post the video showing how it handles.

1st part - Shows the massive box with a copy of The People Under the Stairs DVD (excellent movie) as a frame of reference.

2nd part - shows the rotation feature of the monitor (simple and smooth process). The stand is solid and keeps the monitor stable (granted I just got this monitor, so time will tell if the stand remains solid. If not, the stand can be replaced).

3rd part - Shows off the massive stand (hard to tell in the video). I guess it makes sense since the monitor does weigh quite a bit.

4th part - Shows my dual monitor setup (19" HP monitor). The video being played is the Final Fantasy 13 trailer in 1080p (no real reason why I choose this video, it was just the first video that I could find online that was in 1080p). Yeah, my monitors are in the wrong position, lol. I'm still on the fence on whether or not to sell the 19" monitor though.

5th part - shows the monitor in portrait mode with CDisplay comic reader. The comic pages take up the full screen with no need to scroll. The images look fantastic, definitely the easiest way to read digital comics (the marvel comic collections on DVD should have used this format rather than pdf's, bleh). This comic series (The Goon) is fantastic and I highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys comic books.

6th part - Shows how webpages look in portrait mode. The size of the page (text and images) can be increased to one's liking.

7th part - Saved the best for last. Here's how vertical MAME shmups look like on this monitor. In-person, this looks absolutely phenomeonal. The game I'm playing is Dodonpachi ("And you know this, Man!").

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Enjoy ^_^
