Viral Hemmorrhagic Septicemia (VHS), a deadly virus that impacts popular game fish and rapidly produces massive kills, is spreading across the great lakes and threatening Minnesota waters. Members of the College of Veterinary Medicine are taking action to halt its spread. Our experts are training veterinarians across the state how to diagnose VHS, testing bodies of water for infected fish, and spreading awareness and preventative techniques.
