A comedy drama from the mid-70's, full of sensual intrigue.

Edda gives this sultry number an almost reflective quality, both in the moment and looking back on it. The sensual horns brew over a mildly funky undercurrent. The middle keyboard build has an uncanny tonal resememblance to work a decade later by Ryuichi Sakamoto (Yellow Magic Orchestra; THE LAST EMPEROR").

A correction. This music is actually not from "Viaggio con Anita"(1979). It's from "La cugina"(1974). The two scores are simple on the same album.

Awesome! Funny that Goldfrapp is included in the tags because as I was listening to this all I could think about was how obviously they've been influenced by him. They have songs that sound almost exactly like this. Morricone is a GOD.
