In our office we have signs in every room that say Due to the sensitivity of our equiptment all cell phones must be turned off. Even though it's a lie people believe it.

I agree that using cell phones in the dental chair is awful. I hate when someone answers their cell phone in a restaurant.
I also hate when I am made to wait for 30 minutes for a dentists, but if I am 5 minutes late for a dental appointment I am told that I am causing the dentist to fall behind for the day.
Just some perspective on things.
