This video clip shows Dundonald Castle (located on the coast south of Glasgow) and the surrounding landscape. The castle dates from the 1370s when it owned by the (Royal) Stewart family. It subsequently passed into the hands of the Cathcarts, Wallaces and Cochranes.
Nah, but it has a West Coast to the south of Glasgow. The OP didn't mention a south coast.
Saying that, I can see Dundonald Castle about 300 yards away out my front window, and I'm at least five miles from the nearest beach...
