  • yes! preferably sea salt... altho the iodized variety will work just as well - but yr better off chomping down on some good seaweed rather than relying on yr table salt for yr iodine intake...

  • Hi Nick, Cool video but why use Chemicals.?

  • how come you don't slice or crack the olives so that the salt brine can get into the olives, and hasten the curing process?

  • Hey Nick...like your initial title there...and the videos are very pleasant and refreshing...glad to subscribe.

  • Thanks Nick, you made it very easy to understand!

  • thank you

  • are you aussie?

  • cool accent man! thanks 4 the nice vid. my mom couldn't figure out how to keep the olives down. the mesh part helped!

  • Great clip! entertaining, clear instructions and he even gives some scientific explanations! Great accent!

  • Lovely, wonderful, always wondered how to do this. The egg is so Korean, great way to measure salt in water.

Of course, a pan of water is the simplest way to tell if eggs are fresh and how fresh.

  • Excellent Video. Thank you for posting this. 5*
