Fahtiem's Bellydance Bootcamp Class 4 DVD instructional series

Bellydance Bootcamp is a series of 4 instructional DVD videos from one of Americas best-known dancers. Fahtiem is a multi-award winning artist in the field of bellydance. She is internationally sought-after for her expertise in teaching and for her dynamic performances. In this series she takes you through from the basics of warming up, toning and conditioning to the mystery of the veil and the rhythmic sensation of the finger cymbals (zills).

As a teaching tool, other dancers of different levels are also shown in the class. This gives you an idea of how different movements can look on different bodies. You are able to use the video at your own pace, and come back to it again and again as you can.

Q I am anxious to get to dancing, can I skip the warm-up?
A No warming up not only get your body ready to move, but is part of the dance! Fahtiems warm up routine is carefully designed to work out each part of the body and builds into a foundation for more complex combinations. Seasoned dancers know the importance of the basics, and a great dancer is sure to incorporate some of the simplest moves in a stunning performance.

Q Can I just use the video, and skip going to my local dance class?
A Instructional videos are just one tool on the way to study this beautiful art form. A local dance class with a qualified teacher is also an invaluable tool to learn. Take advantage of local classes if you can!

Q Why is there a man in the class?
A The idea that men cannot or should not bellydance is a myth we want to shatter. We show a man in the class to let you know that they are welcome to join in!
