Shocking Chainsaw Sculpture created by city workers in Public Park, Middleton WI March 5, 2010

I discovered this filthy chainsaw sculpture while walking through a local city park. It was left behind by a Town of Middleton Parks crew working to clear the woods of invasive Locust trees. Do you think it is appropriate to spend taxpayer dollars to create this filthy sculpture and leave it behind for children to see?
This guy created a porngraphic sculpture on public property, during work hours and on the taxpayer dime. Now, I can appreciate a good joke, but leaving this sculpture behind in a public park for little children to see was not only stupid, it was sick. And the biggest insult is knowing my tax dollars funded it!

What, didn't you hear ME laughing several times during the video? And in my description I admit it is funny. But leaving it there was (a) stupid and (b) insulting. But the most offensive thing was being interrogated by the King's Workers.

UPDATE: 8/8/2010

I should mention that by far the most offensive aspect of this incident, not mentioned in the video, was the attempted intimidation and interrogation I experienced at the hands of the apparent foreman at the site. He drove up to me on the green tractor and with clear hostility asked me "what I was doing." It may seem innocuous, but think about it. That is NOT acceptable. I was not doing anything wrong. I am not the King's subject, to be hassled like a slave.

In every 8 hour day, employers are required by law to give breaks. Every single employer. And, a simple sculpture like that could be done in minutes, and only a few of them at that.
