The world best shapers go green. This film is presented by Hydroflex Surfboards. This is the first surfboard recycling process worldwide supported by some of the best shapers in the world (Matt Biolos - Lost Surfboards, Chilli, Timmy Patterson, Mark Phipps, Nigel Semmens, John Purton...). See how a surfboard gets recycled into a toy car. An epoxy surfboards gets brutally chopped in pieces for the recycling process. Surfboard destruction for a good cause. These eco friendly surfboards are environmentally friendly and can be recycled in this new process. After foam and fiber are separated you can also blow new blanks out of the foamdust.

  • why the fuck you want to recycle a board into little useless cars

  • @malaleche240 because we wanted to check if we can use the granulate in an injection molding process. in the end of the day it makes more sense to recycle it to new foam.

  • das lied ist hammer wie heisst das

  • It hurt my eyes to see the boogie go....perfectly good board shredded to pieces.... But I'll accept it because it's in favour of our dear mother nature!

  • Boards and cars, it's all about toys that we love so much.. Very nice video!

  • i died a little inside when i saw th board shredded

  • dumb fuck

  • @HydroflexSurfboards sorry for my ignorance. it makes perfect sense now

  • maybe it the board was injection moulded in the first place , you wouldnt need to turn it into a toy car. Its a move in the right direction at least. However its no justification for making disposable boards.
