Although many foreign students dream of coming to the United States to pursue higher education, most are unable to afford the ever rising costs associated with studying here. Head of American Universitys International Students and Scholar Services Senem Bakkar spoke to Raza Naqvi about the most effective methods of securing financial assistance from academic institutions. She says that at the end of the day, having a well rounded compelling academic and extracurricular profile is the easiest way of securing financial assistance
