Saying egyptians worshiped this god or that is like digging up a dead person 2000 years from now and his ID says "new york" and trying to tell how all new yorkers thought on the basis of him being from "new york". There were many cults in egypt and few if any agreed. If you were allergic to sunlight your idea of a sun god would be different from someone that can go outside and look at the sun and say "this is god".
