Update: I got into the top 20!
Oh boy, you girls sure know how to challenge an editor!
The story behind the video: For anyone that hasn't seen Elfen Lied and does not wish to have the series spoiled, please do not read on!
Lucy, a powerful diclonius, escapes from the institution she has been held in since she was a girl and re-unites with her once childhood friend, Kohta. Kohta does not remember who Lucy is and, in time, the two form a new relationship together. That is until Kohta's memory finally returns to him. Now aware of the horrible crimes Lucy once commited, Kohta now has to decide whether or not to forgive her or leave for good.
Ranting about the editing: I'm dead. No, that's it, I'm dead. Not only am I very ill, but I didn't start this until this morning. Well, no, I've been ripping the DVDs for close to a week, but I started the actual music video itself just this morning.
Oh, how I envy people who learn from their mistakes, because I clearly never do! It's rather sad that I never quite made it to the chorus, since my whole reason behind using Elfen Lied was that it works perfectly with the lyrics "My plug in baby, crucifys my enemys" and, you know, Lucy does a lot of killing. Ahh, you get the picture! Come to think of it, there is even a clip of Nana being held up as if on a cross. Oh, but that clip features rather a lot of nipple. Heck, the whole show features rather a lot of nipple. I did try my best to either dodge said nipple or, in a few instances, crop it out completely, but I think one or two still managed to slip into the final video, despite my best efforts. Same thing can be said for the violence. Lots and lots of violence in this series. Can you tell that it's 1.30a.m from the way I'm ranting? Aw hell, I have work in a few hours!
What? Oh, you want to know about the video.
I chose to use Elfen Lied with this song because...I didn't have anything else that fit! I would have loved to have used a live action film/TV show for this song, but there isn't anything in my collection that came even remotely close. Now, there's a challenge, matching this song to Pride and Prejudice!
Anime: Elfen Lied
Song: Plug In Baby by Muse
Heys! Pretty good. Love the hand transition thing near the end. Smart.
But it's too bad you faded the song out afterwards. That's when it was most awesome!

Haha, thank you! I know, I know, I totally suck! I really wanted to do the chorus, but it was about 1:00am at that stage and the video was due in a few hours. I really wish I had given myself more time on this :(

Pretty good for a rush job then!

Haha, thanks! Could have been better if I had spent more than one day on it though. Oh well, it was enough to get me into the top 20 for this contest, so it's all good.
