It generates a fairly intense odor, you would need to install carbon filtration, when your plants are flowering they are strinky inky. Carbon filter aint too much, just an added cost and u have to design your setup with the filter in mind.
Otherwise if its light tight, quiet, you should be fine, though you really shouldnt grow weed under your parents nose in their house *shrug*, I do my own growing in my own house cuz its my responsibility :)
