Im building an 87 rebel 450. Where did you get the oil tank ?

@redline8407 Sent you an email.It was from a harley sportster.Just something small enough to work with.It houses all the electrical wires rectifier and takes the battery with a tight fit.It was perfect to use for my starter and acc switches.Good Luck.

i just got a rebel 450 and i like to turn it into a bobber. can you tell me where you got the risers,and the handlebars,and i love the airfilters.please let me know where can i get those.nice job,and good luck with the paintjob.thanks robert.

@TheKyokuman You can email me anytime.Im pretty active here from week to week.As for the risers that depends on the tank I seen some guys use straight bars ape hangers ect .If your going to use 1" then google or ebay 1inch risers those are 6" on mine to clear the tank.The tank will dictate your set up.As for the Pod Filters they are 54mm ebay for 20$ or so.Some things to consider jets shims ect if you take your air box off.I posted link to get around the problems that comes with removal.Good Luk

hey dude, awesome bike!!! ive just picked up a 450 rebel myself in a hell of a state in the UK, having a nightmare trying to get the electrics sorted, even wiring the battery is proving a nightmare with wires all over the place. could you send me a copy of your simple electrics diagram??? cheers bud

@lucaslst  thanks for your help i have the same tank as yours.i got this bike for 3 months of poolservice,with 2300 original miles on it. this honda seems like a wery reliable bike,and i am exited about the project. i vill be contacting you if i need more help.i am a 2 stroke guy.me and my kids riding dirtbikes on the weekends.4 stroke seems to be little more complicated.great job on your bike again.thanks robert.
