@nyctreeman Overtalking and dodging questions is "clearly kick the crap out of Rankin"?? Phelps is a heretic and a weirdo.

@9pt9 LOL, you must be out of your mind!
Rankin comes off as a mealy mouthed little weasel, who can't answer a direct question with a direct answer, he spins and twists like a sleazy lawyer, and he attacks Fred's family and personal life.
Regardless of what you think of Fred's message, he clearly kicked the crap out of this little weasel of a man Rankin

Ease back on the namecalling, Agape. No one is trying to turn this into a flame-war. My point, and Paul's point, is that as long as one is saved, then denominations, differences in "doctrines" shouldn't matter. And no, I'm not a Catholic at all.

your taking tht out of context monica denington... and its not a denomination in and of its self... that verse is just a card you pull whenever theres a rift... are you roman catholic?

John Rankin is calling himself Reformed? I would like to know what authority he adheres to. Is he a Calvinist? He can't be! Some of the stuff he has said flies in the face of everything Reformed. I think Fred Phelps is correct saying Rankin is an Arminian Free Will heretic, and if the truth be known, he also subscribes to Federal Vision, reads Cornelius van Til, holds to his teachings, and still wants to call himself Christian. I wonder what his Law/ Gospel beliefs are? Probably corrupt too.
Rankin shredded phelps every which way til Sunday. All Fred did was dodge questions and talk over him proving himself to be a FULL BLOWN HERETIC. He's a tape recorder that only plays the twisted belief occupying his wicked heart. He hears nothing. I pray u don't follow him to hell. Cuz that's where he's going for pushing so many lost away from the gospel.

Does he adhere to Paul? Or to Apollos? Or to Christ? Why do denominations matter so much to you, Seventh?
