The first snow in about 90 years in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This was taken in Tortuguitas, on July 9th 2007 (National Holiday for Independence Day), where the country woke up to a polar wave that started in frozen water and in a matter of hours, became full fledged snow. An amazing sight for sure! I taped this in my house using my still camera in video mode, so please do excuse the crappy quality, hehe. Pretty amazing. Also, this was the first snowfall I've ever seen in my life. :D

  • Congradulations! a snowfall is beautiful...here in Canada we are sad if we have Christmas without snow...its just not the same for us.....

  • Yeah, I know. I'm actually moving to Toronto soon, so I'm aware with Canada's Snowy-self. :D I've been to Canada 3 times so far, but it was always during the summer (to escape this country's winter!)

  • i live in toronto.....its a wonderful city!! let me know if you need any help or information.....and if you come before December you will be able to enjoy our lovely Christmas weather...

  • I appreciate that, thanks a lot! :D

  • In Buenos Aires, where it doesn't snow and didn't snow for almost 100 years, that's a pretty effing big deal.

  • Shame on you for swearing on this public viewing site.

  • Nice video. I guess you're living in Canada now - so enjoy their snow. We had a lot of snow in London yeasterday, but the place came to a standstill. Have a nice day.

  • It is true that snow is very unusual in BA , but depite Brazil or Mexico , Argentina from the center to the south is a cold country . Also snow is very common at the west , near the mountains or high cities like Salta .

  • Let the dogs get inside !!!

  • maybe you should let your dogs sleep inside.
