I kind of felt sorry for IQ-9 when he saw Wildstar hug Nova. The poor robot saw that Nova didn't love him in the same way he loved her. It must hurt to love someone but that person just doesn't feel the same way. I guess this just shows that Star Blazers wasn't an ordinary cartoon, maybe not even by Japanese standards.

I forgot how deep this episode was. This was more mature and deep then the cartoons from the states. You couldnt beat something like this. It wasnt just the quality of the animation but the script and character development as well.
