@atm083 C'mon dude. Pigroota is a handle. It's not meant to be flattering, proverbial or even purposive. It's just for shits and giggles. When you attach a name to a place it should have far more meaning than just going out and fucking some swine (or in my case, killing cops on counter-strike, get it? "Pig rooter" = cop killer?). Now that you know the origin of my handle, i think you can get a grasp on what I am talking about. Like, do you think they should have named the WTC's "Mike's Place"?

I would like to know why surfers give such beautiful places such banal names. Why not give places like "rifles" lances right, hollow trees, guillotines etc etc much more deserving graceful names like Waimea, Sunset, South Beach etc. Names that fit into the world rather than the modernist's ideal to try to control it. Surfers tend to be anthropocentric and egotistical. I bet an Aussie gave these places such shit names
