Mackenzie logger Pete Tylo has safety concerns about the Parsnip Forest Service Road north of his community, saying the brush along the forest service road is growing in, obscuring the view at corners.
Signs warning of single-lane bridges, as well as mileage markers important for radio calling, have also been hidden by the growing brush, he says. The road, 175 kilometres north of Prince George, has also turned to washboard in some places, and even at low speeds can bounce you off your seat, said Tylo, who provided The Citizen with dozens of photographs to explain his concerns.

  • who is in charge of keeping those roads safe for the loggers? Clearly this is disgusting and uncalled for. Think about it.
