This 16mm film was created using over 1,000 hand painted cut-outs and paper puppets with paper backgrounds. I recorded the sounds in an isolation box I built in my living room, out of cardboard, insulation and drywall. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! You can buy dvds of my animations directly from me, please go to: amylogheart.blogspot.com/
CHECK ME DOWN!!!
p.s. marc bell's characters SHRIMPY AND PAUL make a cameo, can you spot them?

  • This is my new second favourite thing.

  • @sc0ttyp0tty thanks!

  • I think i once saw this video was related to Lee Godie?

If you know more, please let me know.

    Greetings,

    InternetInspiration.

  • hi there

do you mean Lee Goldie the outsider artist from Chicago? Anywho, it has no relation to any Lee Goldie that I know of...

  • It seems indeed there is no connection between the Chicago based Artist (wich i think is called Lee 'Godie') and Amy Lockhart. The characters just remind me of Godie's drawings.

    Greetings,

    InternetInspiration.

  • Wow, that is super flattering! I love Lee Goldie's drawings! Have you ever been to the Roger Brown house in Chicago? Its amazing, they have some of her stuff there.

p.s. its me Amy L. writing this

  • Am i high?

  • This reminds me of the music video for WaxStag's Short Road. Lots of little ice cream cones and walking egg people although a lot less animation and uniqueness than this! Thanks!

  • you're amazing!

  • Jim Trainor showed this in his animation class. I Love U

  • great!! it would be nice to see it in a higher definition or less compressed so we can see the filmstock etc.

  • this is delicious and lovely to watch, you are so talented!

Everything in this just made so much sense to me that I cant believe I am watching it for the first time... I especially like the hands at 5.20 as I have a bit of a thing for hands (lanapineapple.etsy.com)

  • very.... scary!... tnx 4 posting

  • creamy and masturbatory

  • I'm afraid I don't quite understand it, yet I find myself entranced by it and yearning to watch more.
