@fishbowlfire They are versatile. Everyone was raving about the Rev P90s for a long time, but I think the RevTrons are finally getting their due.

It depends on what your definition of rocking is. The Club King RT is one of my favorite models, and I think it can rock with the best of them. The RT pickups are in the Gretsch/Rickenbacker arena, but definitely not clones. So they can be jangly, and they're naturally brighter than standard HBs, but they are mini humbuckers, so they can also get gritty and nasty. This guitar made the clean channel of my Mesa DC-5 sound the best it has ever sounded. Pair it with a Vox AC-30 and you're in heaven.

So, do you prefer the RevTrons or the HB's on this model - let's say for rocking (including clean sounds)?

That's funny, because when I ordered it they only had the alpine metallic but I would have preferred the orange. Metallic Alpine is a decent color though, it's distinctive. Thanks.

I really like the colour of yours. I shoulda got that colour but I got the orange one. They don't make the green anymore in that model. Awesome guitars!
