this clip from 'woodstock' was edited by a very young (and talented) martin scorsase who also took over as the director. a great montage of images that stick in the collective imagination of what the late 60's were about.

I love the people on her talking about Woodstock and the 60s and they are like 50 years old... my dad is 61 and he was young at the time, I doubt anyone that is 50-54 years old really new much of anything going on seeing as they were like 10 years old at the time.

am 53 and knew all about woodstock-though too young to attend, i had older brothers and sisters who put me on to bob dylan, joan baez, frank zappa, and all those other 'old farts' -- giants of the music of the time. don't be too quick to make assumptions

I am not sure this is the performance of CSN at Woodstock, the title lasts in the actual version 5:37 ans seems different , mainly the introduction, this does not seem to be a live version
