Tuning experiment with a brand new Hohner HA-114 in D

Re-tuned the treble and bass side to a tempered tuning, and also experimented with the mid bank (wet bank) and tuned each reed by ear between 5 and 7-8 cents. It's not as random as it sounds, and I think it sounds kinda oldie moldy

I got a Hohner too, I'm just startin accordion and im really confused wit all the keys. Mine has 3 rows and everybody else got 1 row..

Aint nothing wrong with a 3 row, play it until you feel like your ears are gonna fall off. Don't ever stop.

hahahah, thanks my friend. I meant oldy style, in a good way. Like 20's-40's sound. This is my favorite sound. Unfortunately, these Hohner accordions cause serious tendon problems with me, after about a 5 hour playing session :-D

Yep, it's like that. Kind of my version of it. Yeah, the Hohners have a sound all their own and sound very much like old Cajun recordings, when tuned a certain way.
