@Blgtn43 I'm guessing you don't know Tsgt Packard?? She is one hell of a firefighter and will put many men to shame. She is very dedicated and VERY knowledgeable. Trust me, she doesn't just "play FF" But yes you are right about the part with the two FF's applying the wrong method to the "fuel fire" but its a school of learning and making mistakes. I whent through that same academy, the instructors there would be sure to tell you what you are doing wrong and make you do it again

@SpyOpz Its hard to say. If it is listed as one of the available jobs definitely put it down. There are a lot of Airmen that go through that school, men and women, so best I could say is best of luck to you. If you do get it, hold onto it and dont fail out..Ive seen too many Airmen throw it away. Good luck!

This was by far the toughest and most rewarding experience for me. It was definitely challenging, but a lot of fun at the same time. As generic as this sounds, stay focused and do NOT give up. Stay hydrated, stay in shape, and study hard. If you want it bad enough, you will give it everything you've got. Class 110802..hua! Oh, and every single one of those instructors have seen it, they have done it, and they have come back to teach it...best of the best are leading that school.

1:55 should have trained him not to turn his back to a possible fire or you'll be likely to get a flame up (at least for structural firefighting in my city they do that stuff on purpose lol)
