According to the World Health Organization, cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death worldwide, accounting for nearly one-third of all deaths globally. An American TV personality is determined to change that. CNN's Larry King nearly died of heart disease two decades ago. After he recovered, he created a foundation with an ambitious goal: to save a heart a day. The Foundation organizes gala charity events every year raising funds for saving lives every day. It celebrated 20th anniversary in 2008.
