I appreciate the message, but it should have been a couple women taking this message to the woman, preferably women of the same complexion. I don't see why it was made w/ a black woman being the one who is being corrected. I've seen a few white women in church that were dressed innapropriately. I don't think it was necessary to bring race into it. Appropriate dress is a very subjective issue but I agree there is a point at which a person, man or woman, is not dressed right.

Blacks don't feel like they can corrected by a brother or sister of another race, no matter how Biblically sound or loving their comments are. That's the point I was making even when u go into a white church u don't see whihte women dressed in appropriately in such large numbers but when u go to a black church i promise u will c women dressed like they're going to the club & u better not say anything, no matter if u r black too

I'm a white guy and I've never attended a "black" church so I had no idea. I sympathise w/ your predicament and now I understand now what you're trying to say w/ this video.

Let me ask your opinion on something, I live in a warm climate & frequently go to church wearing shorts that go to my kness. Other guys were shorts to my church too. I think I'm fine, but I'm open to another believer's opinion.

Well there are no Biblical admonitions to Christian men about their clothing. I believe this is b/c men don't have breasts, thighs, hips, & behinds that women can lust over. There are very few women who are entyced by the appearance of a mans legs or butts. I do believe however that it would be inapprorpriate for a man to go to church showing his open chest. Women who wear shorts at the knees are usually acceptable so I ca imagine that a man wearing shorts to the knees is ok

@deezynar I believe that to the pure all things are pure & if you can wear your shorts in purity without offending another Christian then praise God.If it's hot God isn't unreasonable no one in their right mind is gonna go to church in sweat pants when it's 95 degrees outside.
