The extended edition scene where Faramir, sitting in Henneth Annûn with the cloven horn of Boromir, remembers the last time he spent together with his brother before Boromir left for Rivendell. (HD Blu-ray)

  • I hate that they cut this from the normal release... It kind of explains why Boromir REALLY wanted the ring, how his father poisoned his mind with delusions of needing the ring in Gondor and that Boromir really thought he was acting in the best interests of Middle Earth as a result. I think it makes his death more tragic. He is my favorite character from the Fellowship of the Ring.

  • Sean Bean was such a perfect choice for Boromir.

  • They should have put this in the unextended version, makes you see Denethor in a much different way.

  • @magnieto1 You and me both!

  • WINTER IS COMING!!!

  • I dislike the fellowship's attitude to Faramir in the film. In the book it was not so. Boromir was kind with hobbits, they loved him, he was not so proud. And I think Gandalf and Aragorn couldn't be so insensitive with him, especially Gandalf.

  • This just shows that Boromir was just acting on his fathers will and he thought it was for the good of middle earth when he tried to take the ring because of denethor. It pisses me off how the fellowship shunned and were mean to boromir until AFTER he died.
