From howardAmb (featuring Brad Brown) a 16 minute improvisation based on Harold Budd's composition of the same name from The Serpant ( In quicksilver). Visuals by G.B. Young for www.adigitalnoise.com www.howardAmb.com
This is sublime, both musically, and visually. I'd never heard of howardAmb, only stumbling across this in my search for Brian Eno, Harold Budd and others.
This peice of music shows our love of Harold Budd...the sonic shadow created by his Death Valley work in the early 80s...master craftsmanship on even the most minimal works on piano....his ability to span time while splicing it together into one perfect moment....thank you harold bud for creating a musical world where a band like howardamb exists...
Thank you, this is just superb. The pedal steel work is spot on and the entire thing is just beautiful.
