Great singing by two fine artists. That high D-flat is so beautiful and thrilling. RV's lyric tenor early in his career was second to none - as gorgeous as Bjoerling & Pavarotti but greater in range, richer in lower and more solid upper. Indeed, we and future generations of opera lovers have been unjustly denied the right and privilege to own a studio recording of his art at its lyrical best.Can't stop imagining his studio rec of Sonnambula,Elisir,Lucia,Rigole

Wow! Thanks for posting. Duke of Mantua was one of the best roles for Ramon Vargas. It´s a pity there is no commercial DVD or CD recording any of his performances.
