The wonderful thing about McDonalds is that you don't have to eat there or pay for their services if you do not want to.
On the contrary, every politician that you see a sign for is trying to occupy a position of power that they can use to forcibly take your money from you against your will using the threat of violence (taxation).
I'm not a fan of McDonald's food either, but compared to the coercion that politicians employ through government, McDonald's wins. There's no contest.

I agree and would like to add that corporations like McDonald's contribute to the campaigns of the politicians that in turn pass laws that squelch others from competing also known as crony capitalism. I do wish this joint venture of state and business would cease, but somehow I doubt the corporate world does. I try to do business with local companies and mom and pop type businesses as much as possible. I do see the point Tucker is making as to the differences of the state and the free market.

" It didn't really work out that well"
I would say the genocide of the native Americans "worked" extremely well. Not for them so much.

Perfect example-NYC government ban on soft drinks over a certain size. A typical misguided command and control thought process.

Ah yes. In order to improve society we must exterminate certain groups of people. I think that's been tried before... It didn't really work out that well.
