  • call it whatever you like, it's been around since people could walk.

  • People were more fit back in the days.

  • Viva Arnim Dahl, el gran exponente.

  • David belle didn't invent it but he perfected a lot of it...like you don't see any proper tuck and roll landings in these old videos

  • @chippa20 I'm not missing the point, I agree with you that Parkour is nothing new, not its practice and its mental, spiritual and physical pursuits. There where many people who practice something like it combining all aspects in many different places of the world in many different times in history and even contemporary to you and me but never gave it a name, period.

  • @libidowolf and miss the whole point

  • @chippa20 "You want to make a point that Parkour is nothing new. I don't disagree with that"

    I rest my case.

  • @libidowolf my point isn't really about the definition. You want to make a point that Parkour is nothing new. I don't disagree with that, neither would the person who gave what he did the name Parkour. What is ironic is that David knows what he does in not new, yet, rather than calling it 'freestyle hebertism' he gave an original name to his personal method of training, and still people like yourself come along and make videos like this. People are screwed either way.

  • @chippa20 It's unproductive because you don't get you point out until you actually define it, is just circular reasoning and very repetitive, If I got you definition of what Parkour is, I can demonstrate with evidence that "the principles behind Parkour combined with the physical activities" are not something exclusive from Parkour and that the only relatively new thing about it is actually the action of name it.
