West Highland Way- Kinlochleven to Fort William 7 August 2009

A walk along the 14 mile section of the West Highland Way between Kinlochleven and Fort William. There are great views of Ben Nevis along part of the walk. The walk goes along a glen before entering forests on the approach to Glen Nevis. Note that between Glen Nevis Visitor Centre and Fort William, the official West Highland Way uses the boring main road- I cut through the Visitor Centre to Achintee and used the much quieter road from there into Fort William. This also gave me the opportunity to take some footage of the Ben Nevis Mountain Track which eventually leads to Ben Nevis summit.
